I like getting hands-on with systems and working out why something isn't behaving as expected. Most of what you'll find here comes from university labs, coursework and a Proxmox setup I've been building at home.

ABOUT
I'm in my second year at Portsmouth, studying Cyber Security & Forensic Computing. I particularly enjoy the networking and forensics labs, because I get to investigate practical problems.
At home I've been setting up a small Proxmox lab on a refurbished mini PC. It's given me plenty to troubleshoot, particularly around firewall rules and getting separate networks to communicate only when they should.
I'm looking for a placement where I can keep developing those skills and learn from people who do this every day.

EXPERIENCE
Alongside my studies, I've worked in a warehouse and helped with electrical work under supervision.
Learnt the warehouse workstation and stock-location system, scanned and labelled items, picked orders for dispatch and followed the site's safety procedures.
Assisted under supervision with tools, cable runs and fitting preparation. It taught me to pay attention to instructions and check the details.
